Take Effect
More than a Song - released summer 2020
CeCe Gable sure is in fine company on this aptly titled 4th album where Roni Ben-Hur contributes guitar, Brian Landrus delivers baritone saxophone and bass clarinet, and Harvie S and Sylvia Cuenca handle bass and drums respectively. Together, the ensemble deliver 9 American standards and 1 Brazilian tune, where Gable transcends mere music into another level of emotional intensity.

CeCe Gable has a way to hold back on a lyric and letting it go at just the right time, using her timing to perfection as she teams with bassist Harvie S along with Roni Ben-Hur/g, Brian Landrus/gs-bcl, and Sylvia Cuenca/dr on this rich mix of standards.
CeCe is in the mix!

A true performer!

Knowing many of the vocalists in the big band era personally, in addition to hearing them sing and enjoying the top stars at The White House in the 50's and 60's has certainly given me a broad background in popular music enabling me to appreciate and judge fairly accurately how good a particular vocalist really is.
A singer's singer.
